Remotely clear and/or save a Windows event logSometimes it is handy to be able to clear or save the event log of a remote system. This can be used to gather the event logs for a bunch of servers to one central location or could just be used to remotely clear out the event log on a system. The utility elsave.exe is able to do exactly this. It provides a very simple command line tool which can be used in automated scripts to save the event log on a remote system or clear the event log on a remote system.
