Bootable Citrix client CDWe have a bunch of old PCs in our office that we wanted to use as Citrix terminals. We could have installed Windows on these systems and locked them down and used them that way, but that seemed like a lot of work just for a citrix client. I searched the net for sometime looking for a bootable linux CD with a citrix client on it. There are a lot of different ways to do this, but all the bootable CDs I found required a lot of work to customize and I didn't have a lot of time. That's when I came accross this site... This product does EXACTLY what I was looking for. It allows your to go through their simple wizard to customize the CD and then allows you to download your customized CD and it just works. Best of all, the CD can include a citrix client, RDP client (terminal services), VNC client and/or a variety of other remote desktop clients. You can make the CD boot up and connect immediately to the citrix server so there is no administration at all. The computers you use only need a CD-ROM and don't even need a hard drive. The only issues we had were some small video card compatibility issues at first, but those were easily fixed. I'm pretty sure you can also create PXE bootable thin clients or boot from floppy and possibly a variety of other devices, but I've never tried those out.
